Traditional Combination British Driven Hunt

Dates to be announced for the 2016/17 season soon

This type of day is referred to as “A Mixed Bag” as it combines the best of Speedy Hedge Hopping Partridge and Treetop Flying Pheasants, although run with all the etiquette of the Great day, these shoots are traditionally less formal , either for the friends of the family or a Syndicate of Guns. These hugely popular Winter days offer Guns the challenge of Shooting Birds flying at different speeds and heights, testing one’s skills to the limit.

The day will begin, as always, with the shoot breakfast during which the Shoot Captain will provide a brief on the various “Drives”, Safety rules & Etiquette requirements. Following this will be the Traditional “Drawing of Pegs”, to allocate your place in the line and then Guns will move to the Field.

Traditional shoot attire is appreciated although not essential. Comfortable Country Clothing is fine preferably no camo /real tree. Hearing an eye protection is a requirement as well as blaze orange hat and vest.
