Waterfowl Hunting

If you believe you have the
latest version of flash,
bypass the flash detection.

Years of research have allowed us to create our own flyway, whereby youngmallards are released onto our large water system and are allowed to live "free range." As these birds develop they learn to fly and feed like wild birds. However, through proper management, these birds are kept in the confines of our nearly 1,000 acre preserve. The hunt takes place in concealed blinds next to the water's edge. Decoys are utilized and a guide with a dog is provided. The guide will call and try to bring the birds within shooting range, and use his dog to pick up downed birds. Most hunters have trouble believing that our hunts are as action packed as we claim.

The deeper we get into our season, September through March, the wilder the birds get. They become decoy shy and call shy making concealment and stealth of utmost importance. The cost of the hunt is based on the number of birds you kill or cripple. Waterfowl hunts are held in a natural setting utilizing water blinds and retrievers with no set limit on the number of ducks you can harvest.
