Dan returned from the HRC International Grand with two dogs that made it through to the end: Mike Greenwald's Tequila Marguerite and Dan and Cindy's British Gold's Lady McNare (Heather). This year's tests proved to particularly grueling and the most difficult Dan has competed in. Many fine dogs went out on their first day of testing and in the end only 60 dogs out of 350 had passed the four days of land and water tests and another day of an upland hunting test. Congratulations to the owner's of these fine dogs and their outstanding trainer, Dan. This definitely puts Dan in the category of one of the best trainer's internationally.
Dan and several of his proteges then headed to Victoria Illinos with the following results:
Scott Panozzo and Dude attained his finished level title
Fred Vogelmann and Jaeger attained his Seasoned level title
Keith Hearns and Fitz attained his Seasoned level title
Debbie Smith and Styx attained her Seasoned Level title
Robert Zima and Izzie had a pass on Saturday at the Finished level-One more to go for her title
Dan and Blaze passed both Saturday and Sunday at the Seasoned level
Deb Smith and Jordan passed Finished on Sunday
Deb Smith and Payton passed Finished on both days
